×overview
Touch Digital was set up in 1999 by Graeme Bulcraig to provide a digital alternative to conventional darkroom hand printing. Our initial client base shot fashion and advertising images on negative film and we were in demand to scan and retouch (or print) these images. The rapid progression of digital technologies into the industry has kept us evolving over the last 13 years. We still print and retouch for a wide variety of photographic clients, from digital hand printing of film (scanning, colour work in Photoshop, and cmyk approval proofing), through to complicated multi part composites and montages.
services
High Resolution film and print scanning | Retouching | Fine Art printing | Portfolio printing | GMG cmyk proofing | Video and animation post production | Website design and build by Potter & Web.

Photographic Retouching
We have an experienced and friendly team of 7 full time staff that look after your digital photographic needs. Our new beautifully designed 2000sq ft premises in the heart of Shoreditch reflects our ambition to provide the very best environment for working on photographs digitally. Possibly a modern equivalent of the traditional darkroom.

Fine Art Printing
We have invested heavily in our fine art exhibition printing service to allow us to print large scale exhibitions on the very best inkjet printer and archival paper combinations available in London. Closely controlled custom made in-house profiles, large print viewing areas, digital pre-visualization of large print sizes using HD video projectors and a wide variety of media sets us apart from other diy inkjet printing services. All our exhibition printing is carried our by highly trained photoshop retouchers, who will access your needs and run tests strips on chosen media.

Moving Image
We now also offer moving image post production utilizing Adobe After Effects, Premiere and Final Cut Pro to provide solutions for iPad or web content that complements the print editorial or advertising campaign.
Please get in touch if you would like to discuss any upcoming projects. We offer pre-shoot advice, on set retouching and all the post production services you may require. Tel - +44 (0)20 7729 8586 info@touchdigital.co.uk

Touch Moves To Perseverance Works
March 2012So, year 13 in the life of touch digital and we have now made the biggest expansion in our modest life. Philippe Malouin and the Post Office crew have transformed a beautiful, spacious but actually slightly impractical 1st floor open plan warehouse into a stunning, modern 2000sq ft retouching studio. We have only been here for a few weeks, and still settling into the space, but all staff and clients seems to be loving the new space. A few struggles with BT phones and a relatively lousy broadband are the only teething problems. We have been tinkering with the new gadgets and trying to keep up with Apple's attempts to keep us buying new gear every few weeks. We are still installing the last few bits of new gear including a whole new batch of Eizo CG245W monitors, an Epson 11880 64" printer and some totally souped up MacPros, whilst juggling a busy schedule of retouching, scanning and printing workflow. Thanks to everyone involved for the hard work, and to Perseverance Works for making us feel welcome. Handed in the keys to Rivington Street today with a slight sadness - will miss the Friday night early evening buzz from the Barley Mow and Bricklayers down below beckoning us down for a quick pint after work. Looking forward to the next 10 years of touch at Unit 18C.
New Site Goes Live
March 2012New website live. Thanks to David over at sister company Potter & Web for all the late nights to get our new site live. We have tried to create a new simple site that shows off the beauty of the photography that we work on. We will try to keep it up to date along with our blog and twitter account. We have also refined our branding to say "touch" - everyone knows we are digital. Hope it all makes sense and that we managed to get all credits correct in time. Over the past few years, touch was making websites for photographers and other creative businesses under the "touch me" brand. We decided late in 2011 to create a sister business focused solely on website design, creation and branding for creative industry. If you are a photographer, agent, brand or creative considering a new site, please give David or Graeme a call to discuss. www.potterandweb.com
